Mike Kirby and KNK Hardware are top notch. I would certainly recommend them.

From their website, you can see the cutouts on the chassis on the left. I don’t know of any other company that did this

Re: Whose painting boxarts these days? Ebay or other?
I bought a couple of “gonracing” Trung Au bodies, I don’t think he washed the release agent off or he didn’t prep the bodies prior to painting them, the paint peeled off real easy. He does a decent job but should be prepped better for the price.

Re: Cheapest Brushless ESC Test and Review
This got me digging and I found one of the USA shippers has these in bulk (2x, 4x, 5x, 10x) at a good discount. I put one of the handy two packs ($28) in my watch list for the next time there is a coupon. That will make them $12 a pop shipped.

Re: Cheapest Brushless ESC Test and Review
I picked up one of these based on this review, I'll see how it compares to the equally Chinese Turnigy ESC in my other car when it comes in.

Re: Where Did the Turbo Mirage Bodies Go?
I believe (hope) scr8p means that the bodies at AE are only temporarily out of stock. I'm not an expert but I think 3D printing still has a ways to go to match injection molding for accuracy, aesthetics, and durability. ...I purchased a repro "no scoop" turbo mirage body from OLDTIMERC ......

Re: SDRA RC DRAG RACING 3-7-2020
I built mine using the B5M/SC5M platform. When I started, I heard alot about narrowing a short course truck, but in reality, it is much easier and cost effective to start with a buggy. Arms, driveshafts, turnbuckles, shock towers, sway bars, shocks etc all come from the buggy. If you start with a b...

Re: Trackmaster Equalizer SS
Nice cars. Equalizers are from c. 1990 and were sold as "Signature" and "Pro" kits with either belt or dd transmissions. Not sure if being Signature or Pro defined the type of chassis material the cars used but the ad car had a numbered signature sticker and was all plain weave c...
