Re: Paint stripping
Hey guys (and gals) Any tips on removing paint from the white nylon plastic used on the RC10. I am getting one someone has painted all the suspension and wheels. It looks like a nightmare but going to give it a shot. Thanks in advance. Nylon is a pretty strong plastic. I have found that at least wi...

Re: New guy, lots of questions.
Thanks for the add, I have recently acquired a few RC10's and am deciding how to proceed, as to restoration or not or upgrading electronics and just having fun. One of my recent acquisitions is a very original but in mostly poor shape A stamp car. I will be looking for help as to how much of what I...

Re: Original stealth transmission, any differences ?
If there’s no difference, why then would they mark the header card 10T ? Clearly a later header logo, time period ?ABB19F25-F9F0-4BD1-88A9-7749F3E11C10.jpeg And to add further confusion to my search, check out what the AE site says it fits :? 11E8ACDC-4352-43B4-891D-B1F142525855.jpeg AE seems to ha...

Re: What your workstation looks like?
Not a random bump, but never hurts. Gave the barn a full detail yesterday. Man how I wish I had a space like that. My "hobby room" is a 30x40 inch table sat in the corner of the room. I definitely gotta do something about that. My table is outside in the Southern California. I'm hoping on...

Re: Home theater
That setup is even nicer than some of the professional rooms used to master the movies you are watching.

Re: RC10 Re Re Value 2021
So I find myself drawn to nib kits, but I kinda wonder why.
$800 can get an excellent condition worlds car or a complete and mint gold pan. Why spend 800 on a rerelease when you can get a mint example of a classic one for the same price?

Re: RC10 Re Re Value 2021
Some people go for the rarity, and the rere classic production was the lowest production run of any, and I suspect the rere worlds was the second lowest. It just depends on what the collector is looking for. I didn't realize that. Makes sense since the rc10 was an immensely popular bashing and raci...

Re: What's your favorite & least favorite steps when building a new kit?
Least favorite part for me is setting up turnbuckles. Getting them just right is a pain. Mounting up tires with foam is a close second.
Favorite part checking parts for free movement, spinning the front wheels is the best.

Re: Getting my B3 Race Ready
Hi I have recently dug out my old B3 with the idea of taking up racing again and I have noticed I am missing the CVD dog bone and the relevant pins and coupling. As I am looking to race the car my intention is to try and replace the parts I need to with modern more readily available parts. I'm inte...

Re: Birthday RC10
And it arrived in it's birthday suit, naked! I've been working on that. I might try the Jconcepts Protector body. Started to trim one using this chassis but everything else on the car is pretty original so I may want a Protech. Congrats on the birthday and the RC10. So, did she pick it out and purc...

Re: The cheapest tub pan on eBay
So I called up the processor to go over the results. First off was an offer to refinish any parts I wasn't happy with. That was a nice offer, but I'll be ok with what I have. I just wanted to know a bit more about how to do this better next time. Next came the explanations. The white stuff: it seems...

Re: Andy's RC10 Monster Truck Conversion Kit
Was there an entire conversion kit by Andy's to turn RC10s into monster trucks? I just received a sealed bag of Andy's parts (arms, bumpers, body posts, wheel adapters etc) but has no tag or markings. Ill post a pic of it later when I have a chance. I've been google-ing and cant seem to find anythi...

Re: Forum News & Discussion
I was informed by our hoster that our server is old (Vintage!) and that we're being moved to a newer one as a precautionary measure. It will be taking place this coming Monday the 30th. They didn't specify when on Monday or how long it would take. If the sites inaccessible for a period of time, tha...
