Re: How to clean/refurbish steel ball studs?
I drilled and tapped a nylon block to clamp in my vise. It holds 8 ball studs. I use my dremel with a wire brush. I can do all the studs in about 10 minutes. It used to take me a couple hours and sore fingers to do them before.

Re: Where are cars made (Losi)
People complain about the price of Tamiyas compared to most others, while they don't make their models in China. Guangdong and Fujian provinces are the worlds manufacturing capital for consumer electronics, so it's always going to be the place to go to get something like an rc model built. There are...

Robb's Generic AE Decal Sheets
I got to playing around with making my own generic decal sheets today, and printed off my first on an inkjet printer with some Amazon clear vinyl decal sheets ............ and that is just a fail. But the overall decal sheet should be good to go get printed at an actual print shop for decent ...

Re: What is this servo connector and where can I get a new one
the tekin hotwire sometimes comes with a small adapter that looks really close to this, I guess to connect to some of their esc's without disconnecting from the receiver: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254022752011?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=254022...

Re: Robb's Generic AE Decal Sheets
I added a couple more generic RC10 B1 style sheets to the folder, plus a random B4 sheet that I needed for a build. I am slowly getting better with PS so hopefully these sheets will continue to improve. I dropped off some files at a print shop this afternoon, so hopefully in a couple of days I can s...

Re: McMaster-Carr order substitutions for assocaited parts
Just for reference, I just bought a 100 pack of -006 silicone 70A o rings on Amazon for less than $2 shipped. I prefer 50A but they can be hard to find sometimes. The Traxxas ultra shock rebuild kit is a good source for several items. At $2.50, it's a steal. The 1/8 e clips are a few dollars for ten...

Re: Piecing together CVD's for the 10t
Jeff sell these as a replacement for the 9608, for axle mounted wheels.

For hexes, use shims to remove excess play.

Re: Startin the run what ya brung build of a Team Car
Yes use a foam block to keep your shorty lipo in place. As for the file, you can buy a cheapie set of jewelers files, there are about 5 or 6 different shape profiles, and a number of them would work. They usually come in a pack with plasti-dip handles. They are all around 1/8" to 1/4" wide...

Re: Shock Questions Old (Imperial )Vs New (Metric).
Most short course truck shocks will be approximately the same length as 10T shocks. Smaller bore shocks are typically more responsive than big bores, but big bores seem to be better suited to rougher terrain and heavier vehicles. Whichever type that you choose, I'd use big bore springs. Even with Sm...

Re: were there v2 10mm shocks?
Yes. There were small bore V2 shocks, with and without threaded bodies.
