Re: Rc10 nose tube installation, plate flexing- easy questio
I don't think I've ever assembled an rc10 front end that didn't have tension on the tubes. The holes in the nose plate are higher than those in the tub and the logo area of the nose plate isn't bent back far enough to compensate.

Re: RC10 B1.5
I really like this thread 8) . Really nice builds. Regarding the T2 chassis i have found that there is two types. One is clean (no holes) out the sides except for the antenna mount and the other has two extra holes on the left side i think (seen from the rear looking forward, bottom down) Is this fi...

Re: New RC10T2 Rebuild
I tried taking a few pictures of updates made to both trucks but wasn't happy with them, so I'll post this instead. Both trucks are new builds. I found some correct tires for #1 so now it's 100% as it would have come out of the box. #2 received some new parts like a new chassis, Associated universal...

Re: Bleaching dyed black parts? Can it be done?
about the only way you can get it to go away is to literally strip off the thin layer that has been dyed. This will require a TON of work, and will result in a physically smaller part. If you were able to find a solvent for nylon, you might be able to get a large portion removed quickly, but it will...

Visual reference for wide front axles
I was bored the other day so I decided to take a few pics of the different front axles that can be fitted to the front of an RC10 to vary the width. Top to bottom are: 7222 wide GT axle - what B4 wheels generally call for 7459 inline T4 axle - a tad wider than stock, needs to be drilled out to 1/8&q...

Re: Track is eating front A arms along with E clips RC10 CE
It looks to me as if you have .56 shocks up front and you are using the top hole in the tower which is really meant for .71 shocks. The arms are travelling up more than they should and could be helping to cause the issue.

Re: rpm ultra chassis build
Yikes, a combination of dust and oil on virgin RPM parts... I hope you manage to suck out the oil from the plastic fantastic pores
I'll be back here to comment in 2022.

Re: RC10GT Blue Pan converted to brushless lipo
I don't own a T5M so I can't comment there. I did not use a kit for my conversion. I used 3M molding adhesive lol! I cant think of what a "kit" would include. A motor plate? Electronics? The motor adapter you can make from just about anything. Here is a raw aluminum tub GT-e with a T-4 mot...

If your talking about the screw that retains the pin holding the shock to the arm on a short arm car, it's an .050
