Have you checked out valkyriercmotorsports? They seem to have the 652 bullet connectors.
Or a 4mm bullet connector set.

Road Rally RR-10: Project Snowball Effect
From cheap set of wheels to full build................... So, I wasn't going to do any more long build projects here, because well, they are long and drawn out, and nobody really cares; they want to see the final product. But, TBH, the forum has been super slow the last couple / few weeks, so whatev...

Hybrid buggy build
This will be a buggy, built mostly with Blitzer Beetle parts. More or less, a Bear Hawk. For this car, I'm using as many new parts as possible. So far, the only used parts are the red carriers and servo mounts (already had them). The electronics will be mostly vintage but in good condition. As with ...

Re: RC10T2 Basher
How wide are the teeth on your spurs and how wide are the teeth on your pinions? Are you running with a gear cover or open to sand, dust, etc?

Re: RC10T2 Basher
With brushless, I'd switch to 32 pitch gears.
Are you setting mesh correctly? I use the paper method.

Re: RC10T2 Basher
You need to loosen the slipper. There should be no reason you are stripping gears if the slipper is set correctly unless the motor keeps loosening up.

Re: RC10T2 Basher
I wasn't sure the 32 pitch would be required, since the truck it pretty light. Would that send me into a situation where I now start stripping gears inside the transmission? I think that the internal gears are stronger because they are supported on both sides, while the pinion and spur are hanging ...

Re: RC10T2 Basher
I don't wanna be debbie downer here, but its possibly a too much 550 brushless torque issue your spurs are experiencing. Just throwing it out there. If you have a less punishing 540 brushless laying about, try it out just to see differences. The 32p idea should help, but might carry the punishment t...

Re: RC10T2 Basher
Ugh grass is also super tough on parts, lots of drag.
If you can't get it to survive consistently, then yes you are probably trying to push too much torque through a high load surface(grass) so something would need to be adjusted. Run on different surface or keep cranking the power down.

Re: ESC scrambled or poached?
Well, my Orion ESC actually does work after reverse polarity smoked the capacitors! - I just snipped off the old capacitors to give it a try, all seemed fine. - So I soldered on one of those Hobbywing non-polarity capacitors that I happen to have in my toolbox. I have run it around and all seems goo...

Re: ESC scrambled or poached?
I had emailed Tekin last week, described as best I could what happened and what the ESC was doing - they said more often than not they cannot repair reverse polarity damage... They do have an exchange program though - trade-in for a new RSX Pro is $167, plus $12.50 shipping - as well as shipping cos...
