Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)
Here's a pink label Trinity Monster Horsepower 1985-87 World Champions motor I tested out today. Motor has some gahones, 38,000+ rpm at 7.2 volts. I don't see any Trinity Monster Horsepower motors listed in the reference guide. If anyone has info/specs on these motors please share. image000000 (10)...

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export
Full transparency since that was my kit at one time. Those tires were not the official B2 kit tires. IIRC I bought it from a guy in Thailand who shipped it without F&R tires, or it was just the fronts that were missing. I'd have to dig thru messages to figure it out. When I sold it, I just tosse...

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export
Ah, that makes sense. The thought crossed my mind, as the wheel and tire bags were not grouped together as they typically are, and they weren't tagged. Really appreciate the info, though! Cool to see how these kits bounce around other enthusiasts. I do want to make this 100% original, so the hunt f...

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export
Please don't feel like you have to do anything here. I have no negative feelings about what went down in the past, or what I have in my possession. Having said that, if you have the 6877 edge tires, I'd definitely be interested in a trade. I love the wide fives, but feel like they're wasted on me. ...

Re: I bought my first rc10 B stamp
I think Duratrax offered the gold rear universals. You don't see them very often.

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export
Had to go slightly older with the servo. Found a barely used Airtronics 94151. Did the 95155 ever really exist!? Never had an opportunity to buy one. Maybe someday. The 94151 was what most of the pros ran bitd. There is a 94155 Pro series that is period correct for the B2/B3. IMG_7072 (Large).jpg I...

Re: Has Anyone done a tekin Mid Motor Truck Conversion????
It appears Jake misread the thread topic. I don't see anything Tekin on the build above ^
I have a new Tekin truck kit and a bag of new hop-ups to complete it. I may start a build thread later on.

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)
Wimpy pimarily used Air Supply teardowns. Stock were typically silver cans. If you want something different then TRD offers a whimsical selection of motors.

Re: Edinger Silver dot 6510??
Your 6510 header card was restapled. The older Edinger motors typically did not have a lead or cap(s) soldered. Motor plug should most likely be white since the black plug started with the Ultra wet mag Caddy and was soldered on most if not all of them. Hard to say if a silver dot and that motor bel...

Re: Edinger Silver dot 6510??
Anything is possible. It's also possible the motor in the advert is used. :D I've had several nip ones over the years. My 05 Club Racer Edinger didn't have a soldered lead, and I think the caps were separate as well. The 6511 gold dot you are referencing was a dry mag. I suppose the plug color was a...
