They were one of the only production pullers of their day. They used High Roller rear tires/wheels, and the fronts were from their Pro-110 buggy. They called the chassis "The Wedge" and they had a funny car body. They were a simplistic design overall, and couldn't pull that much weight but...

I remember similar power gains on my Nitro Hawk Image .12 back in the day. When I removed the pull start and one-way and replaced with a heat sink back plate, it had very noticeable improvement in acceleration.

Man, nitro was awesome back then!

Nice MRP motors.
These are newer versions because their can is Mabuchi or Johnson.
Early MRP were based on Igarashi.
