Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6
The transmission and rear suspension is mounted. Really pleased with how it turned out. No limiters needed in the shocks. Bone engagement looks to be spot on. There is no binding at either full extension or compression. At a ride height of 22mm there is 2 degrees of camber. Camber changes are minima...

Re: More AE parts being discontinued
Likely the cost of supply chain and maintaining even small inventories was more costly than the few bucks they made selling the old stuff. Packaging, web page costs, storage costs, and on, it's not just a simple as they keep a few old RC10 parts around. Could just be a plain old accounting call and ...

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
Lower deck area is 262 cm2 and upper deck is 67 cm2.
Carbon fibre sheet density varies, but lets assume it's around 1.6 g/cm3.
With 2.5mm lower deck thickness, weight would be 105g.
With 2.0mm upper deck thickness, weight would be 22g.
You can tweak further from here...

Re: Car #6 SC10 Street Outlaw Pro Mod conversion
That is shocking, but they will give you a new one for it. I think you need to send it in but $3 shipping gets you a new one.

Re: Stealth gear-sets
Thanks Bluewormx, searching ebay WITH that number 6571 showed three options that seem perfect. I had searched many different wordings but didn't know the part number.

Re: Graphite build opinions
Jake, you've spark my curiosity. Someday when I'm caught up on some other projects, I'm gonna swap out a graphite chassis under my worlds car to see how it affects handling. These cars seem to respond to a little extra weight down low so I donno but it should be an interesting experiment.

Re: Graphite build opinions
Just my opinion on the transmission--- leave the trackmasters for circle track cars, leave the hydra-drives on the losi's, Stealth is always a rockstar, and you forgot some of the coolest options----the A&L Leathal Weapon belt drive and the MIP SP1. For pure cool factor my vote would be the A&am...
