11 years smoke free

Today is an anniversary for me. Today makes 11 years since I finally put down the cigarettes and became a 100% smoke free person. One of the best choices I ever made for my health 8) Wasn't easy to do for sure. I was a pack of menthol per day smoker and tried every way out there to try to quite. Tri...

https://i.imgur.com/h5zrGCv.jpg And 312 screws later  I'm actually not kidding either. I love the Ignitor wheels, but with the wheel itself being a 2 piece design, plus beadlocks on both sides. There's 78 screws per wheel that you have to remove to take them completely apart for painting them.

Got the Felony out tonight

Have been so busy this year this is the first time I have got the Arrma Felony out and ran it since last year. And actually only the 2nd time I have ever ran it since getting it last fall. Already destroyed the rear tires. It's just too hard to resist pinning the throttle on this car.

Yep. I think tires for a Felony is probably the equivalent of ink cartridges for printers

Haven't really had a ton of free time to do RC lately, but got this latest build out recently and tested it out on the backflip ramp. She passed

Re: Short run of the 1/5 scale Monster Truck

It actually did knock some of the dirt off the top of the ramp, so gonna have to add some more and pack it down better for this truck.

Well just pulled the diff/axles out of the rear, I'm gonna say that bevel gear probably needs to be replaced

Jurassic Park project

Started a new project last week after getting home from my trip. Decided to build a Jurassic Park scene from the original movie to display in the theater room. Going to be a big piece, base is about 4' long. 3D printing most of the stuff. Going to be the scene where the T.Rex breaks through the fenc...

Re: Jurassic Park project

The Jurassic Park project for the theater room has slowed down some now that I have been back to working on filling rod orders (damn work 😆) but it has been coming along nicely when I get a bit of time here & there. The base is covered with the "mud" (mix of pva glue/paint pigment/dryw...

Re: Jurassic Park project

Bouncing between rod work and the Jurassic Park diorama today. Was able to get all the trees/jungle background done. I used a method model railroaders use. Clipped some dead branches off one of my juniper bushes out back, stripped the needles, put some poly fiber in spots on it and spray adhesive. T...
