Got the Felony out tonight

Post by Steve71 »

Have been so busy this year this is the first time I have got the Arrma Felony out and ran it since last year. And actually only the 2nd time I have ever ran it since getting it last fall. Already destroyed the rear tires. It's just too hard to resist pinning the throttle on this car.

Glad you're having some fun. PIN IT!
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Luckily I bought a spare set of rear tires when I bought the car last year, but I'm still kind'a shocked how fast it chews up tires  It is a fun car though, quite different going from driving one of my monster trucks to driving this thing. I may throw the speed gear that came with it in next time I run it. That gear is supposed to make it hit 75+mph. Might be a bit too fast for this 50 yr old man's reactions though. I have enough trouble controlling it at the current speeds. Might need to find a larger area to run it with that other gearing.

I remember the first time I took my infraction out. I could spin all four at any speed! It was fascinating to watch, and even more fun to drive!

I destroyed all four tires in two battery packs. I then went to purchase new tires. I have not run my infraction anywhere close to my first couple of runs since then. :D
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Yep. I think tires for a Felony is probably the equivalent of ink cartridges for printers
