Re: Losi XX Variation info request
Hi, The main difference between versions is the toe-in angle on the rear was outboard for the XX, and inboard for the XX CR. The XX-CR Kinwald edition was supplied with a dual disk slipper instead of hydradrive . No huge modifications between all versions; a great car. In my opinion the best compro...

Double X CR modern racer
Grabbed this rough XX CR for a decent price, not minty but not beat to death either. Starting to dig into it now. More to come

Re: Double X CR modern racer
Tackling the transmission first. The XXX 2.43 idler is the same as the 2.19 idler, as is the top shaft.
This case is of course cracked in two places (get the feeling that they are all prone to that) the internals look ok, just dirty and dry...so-

Re: Double X CR modern racer
Guess this is typical front bulkhead failure along the mold line, just the outer two. I understand the Sabula Tech one to be outstanding for vintage racing, so I'll get some of those

Re: Double X CR modern racer
This thing was filthy.... I have to make a Factory Works order for towers, battery strap and trans brace for this tomorrow, I need to polish or replace all the hinge pins, replace all the ball studs and screws, order some turnbuckles. I would like to get ahold of a 2.61 trans case and see the differ...

Re: Double X CR modern racer
Good to know one JC for the front arms, that was (other than trans cases) the one spare I couldn't seem to locate. Going to use one of Jose Zayas' 10 to 12mm adaptors for now, the simplest thing if you asked me would be to just make the front axel with a 12mm hex instead of the 10mm...but that's jus...

Re: JRXT of my youth
The pics show an early Jrx T unter that red shell! I see the NIP black super star wheels on the bench, so what's the plan?

Re: Double X CR modern racer
Little bit more done, all cleaned up, list of needed stuff compiled- added SC10 rear 12mm standard hexes in the rear to check for hub spacing and use the B7 wheel, added AE B4.2 front axles and SC10 front 12mm hex for modern wheels (B7) Just about 3mm wider than stock (Left is mock up, right is stoc...

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build
That MIP bar is great on track, especially if you run the bar on top of the bellcranks- also the LXT castor blocks are the same as the Jammin Steering Enhancement kit, they're a little beefier and allow axle height adjustment with the stock steering arms...last trick I found on the front end is the ...

Re: Blasphemous T2 .4 Racer
This build continues to be strong on track, had multiple odd issues with the JConcepts bellcranks coming loose mid race, maybe I should have thrown a little thread locker on them, however they really do add a bunch to the front end grip consistency. Miles ran this at the Tamiya World Classic at WORC...

Re: 2025 21.5 Pre-Pro SE buggy
Ok, so late race report. 2025 Tamiya World Classic at WORC. Buggy was just as good with the new layout as it was with the shorter and mostly more technical old layout. Overall the only changes I made was to go up one piston in the front and down.one in the rear. Car was hella fast, I wasn't the bigg...
