Lots of playing around with body post positions and widening the wheel track, and now it sits just about how I want it. Lots of decal work still to design and install, but it is coming together.

Picked this lot of tires up from the local Flea Market this past weekend. $15, and the seller was happy to get rid of them! :D I can get rear 1/10 donuts from a local guy all day long for $7.50 a pair, so the Bolinks aren't all that exciting, but two rear sets + one front set for a Traxxas Bullet an...

Got a bit done on the Bullet. Called this a stopping point because although the driveshafts I had were NIP, they were weathered and a bit orange. Will let them soak overnight and continue at some point tomorrow.

Started into a Bullet refresh this weekend. Original plan was to go all out, and get the best of everything, but found out most of the parts I had (from two parts cars) cleaned up pretty well, so just decided to refresh it, and only replace what was really needed. Design flaw. The Traxxas ESC switch does not fit in the Traxxas car.

Just popped the switch out of its case, and just going to run it exposed. I think its water and dirt days are over, so I don't think it will be an issue. The servo mount could have been trimmed enough, and still be plenty strong, so there is also a different route. The XL-1 may end up being too tall...

Yea, mine are cracked at the link mounts, and this seems to be fairly typical of many of the pics I have seen of other vehicles. These are the only broken parts on my rig.

Per Tamiya, the 100ml can is sized specifically to coat one complete model. I tend to use more when doing pan car bodies, but less when doing buggies.

The 58546A comes with the ESC. The 58546 (linked) does not. That item is the correct model number, but they copied and pasted the wrong description.
