Building my own engines now...after initial cost for the housing, the reloads are much cheaper...have some runs coming...and several that Thumbs hasn't posted🤷‍♂️...but none with this new engine combo....also, I have yet to wreck the car with the Camaro body or custom Factory Works chassis....dozens...

I thought this was an interesting looking ESC, but didn't realize it had a polycarbonate shell. That's kinda cool!

This is interesting in that most guys convert Scorchers to Rangers since they are so rare. Finished my DIY bumper....thanks to everybody who chimed in on my last post....score and snap method won the day....followed up with dremel, hand sand, vice/heat gun for a 35deg. kick up. Came out better than I thought....but think it might be time to invest in a mini band saw for the shop. 20240716...

Gonna go off topic a little for a second but if you're into trans am and haven't seen the Willy T Ribbs documentary "Uppity", it's really worth the watch. Seriously great story about his battles on and off the track.

Once again....and not surprisingly, the old glue on the stud for the CC graphite axle failed as soon as any pressure was put to it while trying to tighten the diff......I've gone through trying to use 3 different ones and still have another NIP....but they used to fail bitd quite often too so.....on...

Re: RC10L T-Plate options help me understand

The cuts on the material are made at 45⁰. The layup of g10 is 0⁰ or sometimes 0⁰ 90⁰ so by cutting it from the material at a 45⁰ angle you are changing the way the material flexes.
