Re: My Green 40th Edition RC10 Build

Finally finished up the green machine. Ordered custom decals for the stripes. Used the original decals for the lettering, which were the same as the clear kit. Turned out pretty good I'd say. Also added the Halsey front bumper. IMG_20250427_203333663.jpg IMG_20250427_203518179.jpg IMG_20250427_20342...

Re: Robb's Bolink Invader O/R

Got into the decals. Pretty much a Greenwood Corvettes tribute theme. Actual colors came out a little more "Hot Wheels" than I think I like, but overall good with it. Still need to correct some paint issues, and get into the bumper, and should wrap it up.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Finished vintage black pan GT exhaust.

...started off in the antifreeze / crock pot.
...steel wool
...then Blue Magic (try it on a test black anno aluminum part too) works good.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Got a couple white case Ace servos. They aren't particularly strong or fast but damn that looks sweet.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Robbed the parts bins and found enough parts to throw together a basher to test out the TPS style transmission. The trans held up well! Blew through a set of foams in a couple packs

Re: Special Project Codename EF209 - RC 1/12 pancar

The Montluçonnaise is taking place in one week from now. It's time for the last bit of preparation. The event is on 4 days, and on the road track, there is light in the evening which allows for night running time... Which means that to have it realistic, we need lights on the car... That was the pla...

Re: R.I.P Buster

Hey all, rather than thank everyone individually, I thank you all. Buried him out back this morning. My daughter came home for it. He was with us almost 17 years. He had a helluva run. RIP Mr. Bubby Man. 8)

Re: My Attempt at doing something less basic

A little less complex this time. Most of this was done with an external mix airbrush as other brush was being horribly inconsistent and I didn't really need to do anything fine. I've gotten a little better at cutting designs but still need to work on my technique in tight areas as the blade kept sli...
