No problem at all! These kind of conversations are nice!
Parts released, i hope this goes as i like and people wont be using these to make money. I could have done it also, as i´m broke as hell for being in study leave from work so long, but yea...

Re: Marui Hunter - My first buggy... Found one to restore :-) - and a Galaxy RS too :)
Thats a great tip EvolutionRevolution ! I would still suggest that even better and cheap option would be going to a shop that sells car paints and stuff for that. Those paint filters are super cheap and easy to use and you can order those in different microns. I use those lab filter papers in my dai...

Re: Turbo Optima Mid - Quick resto-mod
With parts from the Optima re-re, Kyosho is about 50% or more to having a Mid. They just lack chassis plates, shock towers and trans cases and maybe an input shaft assembly and idler gear. And, of course, a body set. I've probably said this before but I think a big sticking point with a Mid re-re is...

Re: Turbo Optima 2019 re-release in “boring” box art colors
Hi! Fairly new to this forum and trawling re-re Turbo Optima threads ahead of building mine over Christmas. This is another fantastic example, I hope mine looks as good when I finally get around to it. I'm planning to do one box art body and another scheme (to be decided!) on a repro body I've boug...

The Samurai arrives ! Looking at the front suspension with wire wound found it you may need new ball cups , there are some on Thingiverse that work well even if the locating pin is a pain to print . Can't wait to see her up and running

Re: Optima Mid Runner Budget Build to LWB conversion
Hello all. This is a very interesting thread. I love all the optima series as my username can suggest ;D I don't have any printed parts on my Optimae but I guess this is a matter of time. iMaterialise is cheaper than SW for sure but there are plenty of providers even cheaper yet correct quality. It ...

Re: Kyosho Turbo Optima Legendary series - 30619
I had some torsion on my Turbo Op rere chassis. I think the culprit was the rear gearbox. the parts were a little bit skewed and therefore the front and rear gearboxes weren't perfectly aligned. After I screwed the upper plate and the mid spacer it wasn't that obvious anymore but it's surprised me n...

Re: A new project - Nichimo Spirit FF - The first of a kind
Cyano can be removed with acetone but be very careful as it may also eat the chassis if it's ABS .
Very interesting inverted spur gear ! I've seen a YouTube clip of one of these and it wheel spun a lot so I'm sure your right about the radiator being a nose weight , 92g though !

Re: A new project - Nichimo Spirit FF - The first of a kind
The Nichimo Spirit FF drives terribly on anything other than a smooth asphalt surface, unfortunately. The radiator mainly functioning as a nose weight is to help, but the car still just spins the front tires unless the surface is very high-grip. It's a rare and valuable oddity to add to your collect...

Re: A new project - Nichimo Spirit FF - The first of a kind
I wonder if the odd inverted spur gear is a legacy of re-using some of the 4wd front transmission gears designed for shaft drive from the rear ?

Re: Marui Samurai 4WD - Another SilverTriple's journey...
Looks like you've lost part of the bearing seat for the sprocket output , the same thing happened on one of my gearboxes , I designed a fix pictured below , happy to share the STL .

Can't wait to see another Samurai back on the road

I'm just looking forward to the opportunity to see if my kit (if it ever arrives) is complete or not...!
There's still no indication of when we might see the next batch of rere TO's in the USA
