Re: JRXT Rebuilt Questions
Not trying to thread jack but what is the difference in length of the JRX2 and JRX-T chassis? I'm starting to get a feeling that this 5 link chassis I have may be a Truck chassis and not a Buggy. Easiest way to know without measuring, JRX-2 has the curvy side chassis, the pro and jrxt always had th...

Trash picked treasure
So my aunt was throwing out a ton of boxes of old stuff. I was helping her move it out for trash day. It seems that my uncle was into RC stuff 30ish years ago. I took home about 6 boxes of stuff for planes, boats and cars. Found a complete gold pan in there. Lots of foam tires, extra wheels, servos,...

JRX Pro SE "we don't do shelfers here" build
So the first ever "Hobby grade" RC I owned was a used Losi JRX Pro SE that my step father helped me purchase when I was a kid. Later I sold it off to help buy a a former racer's LXT and his entire inventory of parts, radios, electronics, and motors, batteries ect. This was decades ago but ...

Hello from Philadelphia, returning after a 30 year break
in 1985 i begged my parents to get me a Kyosho Pegasus. I really wanted an RC10, but that was too expensive for a 14 year old according to my parents (boo). after spending two summers completely trashing the Pegasus, it was stolen from our back porch... it was well used and worn out. after mowing a ...

Re: Trinity EX Tech Experimental motor - purple can?
It could be a genuine label put on a nice motor because someone liked how it looked. The labels are still available if someone wanted to do that with a motor. Its possible this is what has happened with this motor.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
ended up changing the scheme of my stock class Mini JRX2 to match my JRX Pro. https://i.postimg.cc/Gp1bKwkj/IMG-20221119-201438165.jpg Decals are 1/14 scaled JRX Pro decals from MCI which fit quite well. I should have move the side decals forward more on both the bodies but I didn't feel like fighti...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Well I started having ideas and really wanted to run a Mini JRX2 in Mod class. I went and bought a 3rd car, which unfortunately had abysmal build quality so I abandoned it for the time being so I can return it and get one that isn't put together wrong. For this I took apart the Mini LXT for the time...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
The mod version worked fairly well with the proper transmitter settings. Still need to figure out the traction rolling issue, might need to put more spacers inside the shocks and fool around with the front camber link positions. The major mod is on myself, I need more practice, driving a car with th...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Mid motor? I hadn’t thought about doing that to one of these minis.. Correct! Unfortunately you can't swap the top shaft in this transmission as easily as you can on the original LRM transmission so it's running an old Mamba mini motor in reverse. I really wanted to try it with the dynamite motor b...
