Re: RC16? Because I like Mini Scale...

No biggie man, the old 6 gear is a funky size to try to make work, It just may end up without a diff as it would be quite easy to just use a series of pinions of appropriate sizes to replicate it.

Re: RC16? Because I like Mini Scale...

For diff plates, can you use ordinary washers? For gears, can you simply print them? With a car this small and light, I'd bet printed gears would hold up okay. Is it worth trying??

Latest 3D print (John Wick)

Finally got some time tonight to finish up the John Wick 3D print and got it all painted. This is the first stl file I have ever paid for, got the file for $8 about a month ago off cgtrader. It's about 12"-13" tall over all. https://i.imgur.com/uFvPLMt.jpg https://i.imgur.com/RiC4736.jpg

Re: JR's Choice motor.

The earlier Losi motors that I've seen were all Yokomo based.

Re: JR's Choice motor.

Lightbulb just went off since there's a decent amount of us who buy and/or collect old brushed motors. Just thought it would be cool if we had a sticky thread in this "Vintage Electronics" section focused on the history of different brands/suppliers vintage brushed motors (not just names &...

Better question, where can I get my hands on one of those mini motors, are they still made or all just old stock at this point? There are a couple on Ebay right now. A new one and a used one. I actually found quite a few things besides the Reedy ones. including someone that seems to have a ton of T...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

Did a test print of the front wheel. Came out pretty well although i should have just waited till I removed the tires off of my old wheels because I was too small on the bead width with my guess. https://i.postimg.cc/67YvWTTV/IMG-20220903-152210100.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/34NDd7Ds/IMG-20220903-1558...

Re: JRX2 Chassis Refresh

Great looking buggy! One of my favorite things about the original Jrx2 is the sleek bumperless front end.
