Re: Your top five cherished RC (by manufacture) in a collection?

Losi Micro T  I forgot about those little guys! I think I had more fun with it than any other RC I ever owned. We had an epic oval track series going at my work, with 3 or 4 races each day. I made a small, laughably crude, paper "traveling trophy" that went to whoever won the most re...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Early birthday present turned up today😱 Looks like someone is getting a new cat, I mean CAT. Build thread! Build thread! Build thread! If UPS shows up, I am getting a couple of Top Cat bodies, Cougar bodies, an extra wing, carbon towers for the Cougar I am never going to get, and a few misc spare s...

Re: Making Dyed parts white(er)

I don't know if it works to remove dye, but if anyone has ABS plastic bits that have "yellowed" or "browned" with age, the hair salon bath/ultraviolet light trick works very well.

Re: Turned 40 today...

Remember, no matter how old you are now, soon you will wish you were "only (your current age) again"

Futaba multi-model transmitter question

I use one 2.4 Ghz Futaba transmitter for all of my cars. Last night I drove my Top Cat around my track and it was dead slow, like battery dumping slow. Changed to a fresh-off-the-charger battery- same result. Nothing apparently wrong with the car (which had been driven the night before without issue...

5% of RC10Talk members access the site from Australia/NZ region. Therefore, 1 in every 20 photos is automatically flipped upside. It is only fair.

I am just glad you submitted a really nice car to save from a) voting for an old Schumacher I didn't think was really deserving or b) voting against an old Schumacher.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

LRP Spin ESC, Trinity "Punisher" 10.5, Savox 1258 Black (black servos matter?), and some JC 2.2 wheels for CAT. All of this is either for a Cougar I don't yet have or to make a runner out of my Bosscat. Time will tell. Carbon fiber rear suspension bracket for CAT XLS. Broke the stock one. ...

Re: Dirty pictures thread

A little wet lots of grass, leaves, and dirt inside it. Screenshot_20221025-144052_Gallery.jpg I'm glad that I got the extra thick body. This thing spends as much time on its lid as it does running. A narrow SC track width, high center of gravity, and grabby tires don't go well together. You could ...

Re: 2WD buggy from 2022 vs. 4WD buggy from 1992...who would win?

Coincidentally, I did this comparison back in 2017 or so just because it is what I had available  . I had a very good track with some very fast sections and also a lot of tight twisty bits. 16 turns in all IIRC. It was mostly short grass with dirt showing in the faster turns. I ran a KF2 (mid m...
