Re: OG Clodbuster
What you have there is a Clod Buster with a Clodzilla IV conversion. The wheels look like they have some age to them so they could be original Technacraft opposed to being reproductions. The tires are called 'V-Spike' and were sold by TMS and Duratrax. The shocks and body are more modern. We normall...

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - '85 Jammin' Jay Halsey Tribute
Wheel lots are an addiction. I must have a whole box, but never enough screws or tires to put them together. Have a bunch of those Pro-line slotted screws now. https://i.imgur.com/6hkRvgU.jpg Got this M2 kit from Amazon, used the 2mm x 8mm screws and M2 nuts, they work great. https://www.amazon.com...

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?
There are also a few tricks to judge where you are on the low end needle. Once the high speed is set you can work on the low speed. Note, the high speed MUST be set before you attempt to set the low speed. As guggles said the engine must be hot and keep in mind you can't properly tune on the bench, ...

Re: Parma Stinger for Hornet body
Well, its been a while waiting... I asked and asked and eventually tracked down the option of Parma direct. Roger there asked me for a part # for the Stinger body. I sent it to him twice and have heard nothing more. I have been working with Team Blue Groove on some other stuff. I will have to pick s...

Optima Mid Build
Sorry, I'm terrible at taking pics during the build process, I'll try to keep this as updated as I can. Started with a decent runner I've had for years, and have been collecting parts for. My intention is to build a nice little piece of shelf art, save for the occasional run around the carpeted livi...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Found a deal on a RC150 (Thanks GoMachV and Phin for the ID!!) that I thought was so good, it was worth taking a PTO day and a 6.5 hour total road trip for! I knew the seller had many other vehicles, but I wasn't sure what else that was up my alley, but walked away with good stuff. The RC150...

My basher Tyco Bandit build.
I didn't see a Tyco section on the forum so hopefully I put this in the right place. Decided to bring an old friend back to life. Started off as front suspension fix and an electronics upgrade, but eventually I improved some things over the years as parts broke. Its still an ongoing project. Ampro E...

Re: APM Custom Hobbies King Cab Parts
These, I am not sure about. They dont seem to match the size of the APM King Cab side bars, but they do match a similar style. They could also be APM Clodbuster side bars, though I have never seen any pictures or adds for those, only a few people claiming they've seen them. Or maybe they're drawer ...

I'm in My entry is the Marui Racing Buggy, aka Hunter prototype (at very least, this is the inspiration, from a single picture) https://i.imgur.com/X7RrfXd.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/hXNwRk6.jpeg Again, this is relying a lot on 3D printed parts : At the very exception of the wheels (orginals from a Ma...
