looking to loose a little of the weight being added, I took about 3g out of a spare left rear hub. I have a lightened diff hub on the way that I plan to do the same to.

Got a lightened diff hub on Ebay-- (there are a few left!) The seller told me this is a Factory Team (before FT was a brand) piece that was given out to Team drives BITD.

It shaves off about 4G

The Newest Hobbywing Justock 10.5 combo came in last week--

Got it all together and ready for some track time this weekend.

The 14ga motor leads got warm from a few runs up & down the street-- have some 12ga on the way.

Took it racing this past weekend. TQ'd the 2nd quali, started 2nd in the main , but ran out of tires and talent. My podium mates drove impeccably, to boot.

Had a blast racing it, for the first time.

Need to build some adjustability into the suspension.

You really need to read up on our FAQ and parts list to get the full idea of what we did but it uses a stealth diff up front and will have, as with every 4wd, slightly less steering than a 2wd, but the same as a Kyosho optima or similar 4wd of the era. Tore the diff down - the new ceramic balls and rings were trashed. Honed the rings smooth & flat and installed some new AE carbide balls I happened to have.
