Very interesting build...I take it that you're going to mount the tranny as a mid. Did you cut the chassis yourself, or is it made for that? Also, how are you mounting the bulkhead/tower?...I just started a mid project out of spare parts. The rear bulkhead is done....I made it from fiberglass...I w...

For those wondering how legit this class was...Here is Hyperdrives RC10 Onroad conversion...not just the drive belt, they made the whole car besides the RC10 part of it..Epic!

Re: Mid-Six Spare Parts Project

For your 6 gear transmission, are you doing the outdrive bearing mod?

Very nice setup you're making. Looks great!

Re: Mid-Six Spare Parts Project

So far your build looks very nice, I'm a big fan of taking what you already have to the next level. As to the bearing mod... Pretty sure Frankentruck is referring to the outdrive bearing modification. One of many references can be found here https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=44362&am...

Re: Coyote Rethink

This looks to be a very technical project...Although I'm not familiar with a Coyote, based on the illustrations, it looks like Mr.Ed has the right idea about using the bumper as a guard. Seems to be several places to bolt one on.....I can't wait to see the progress on this! If your not familiar wit...

Re: Project Hyper Hornet

I switched to a Novak Havoc ESC because it has Lipo support built in, but it doesn't like the Tamiya brushless motor and throws a fault code for motor not having temperature monitoring. So in goes a Novak 13.5 with it. Rear suspension is now significantly beefed up with some goodies from Factory Wor...

Re: Mid-Six Spare Parts Project

What a nice build!
... and it appears to have taken you only 3 days to complete. My scratch builds normally take months to complete.

Well done sir. :D
