Hey guys! I haven't been on here in a while...since April 2019 apparently. Anyways, the reason is that I boxed up all my stuff to move and freaking nearly 2 years later I'm weeks away from escrow closing on a new house. WITH A HOBBY ROOM!!! So, once I'm moved in and things settle down, it'll...

Dusty Team Car + Wheel/Tire Qs
Hey guys! I moved into a new house earlier this year. Yay! RC stuff is almost done being unboxed. Lots of organizing going on now. Anyway, some of my cars and most of my projects have been boxed up for 2-3 years and are now seeing the light. One of my "finds" is this very dusty RC10 Team C...

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE
I ordered the re-re bumper parts tree. The bumper does fit. It's a little different than the original but it's 1000 times better than the beat up one I was using. I'm almost finished with the restoration. Just need to finish the wing.

Re: Tamiya New Beetle FF01 front wheel drive fun
I have a New Beetle too that I purchased back in 2000. I recently made a few upgrades including adding the Castrol Civic body which I think looks great.
I also added the period shock upgrade to replace the old plastic CVAs.

Nose plate straightening
Hey guys,
I have a nose plate that is in pretty good shape. Typical arc scratches from the steering bellcrank and the front has a bit of a wave to it. How are you guys bending it back into the correct position without leaving marks or making things worse?

Re: Maxxum FF to the lineup
This is a pretty cool car. Excellent work with the paint and restoration. I've ordered MCI decals in the past and they've been just a couple of hairs too large. If you decide to upgrade the shocks, the Kyosho golds are the best. Stay away from the platinum shocks. They are hard to tune and finding n...

Re: Kyosho Dirt Master Ultima SB
I'd like to order a body set. I have an NIB RB5 in my closet and this body would be perfect for getting a hopped-up Dirt Master.

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE
So, all that work and you got minimal improvement? I could never get those things to work right.
