Re: Wow modern buggies are fugly
It's like they changed their mind halfway through the design, but didn't want to start over.

Re: Posting images
Yeah although there's limited server space of course, it's better if you upload images directly to the board and not use third-party image hosting when possible. This way there's less of a chance of the images becoming broken.

Re: Vintage RC market predictions -
A number of items I was interested in on eBay over the past few weeks have gone for absolutely ridiculous prices.
It's really frustrating when things are going for double, triple, and beyond their normal worth. If anything, now is the time to sell.

RC10Talk - Celebrating 19 Years!
Today marks the 15th anniversary of RC10Talk. https://i.imgur.com/BNmrw.gif I just wanted to thank everyone for their continued support and contributions in preserving this wonderful hobby that is R/C. More specifically the "vintage" side of it. Some changes will be taking place sometime ...

Re: Tracker manual
I know what you're after and quickly looked in the usual places, and didn't find one either. It seems weird that nobody has a copy scanned. It's not like it's an obscure model. The only advice I can offer is to try using an Outrage manual since the Tracker is based off of it.

Re: Nitro Thrasher restoration
Well if it's any consolation, I'll be working on mine... Eventually.
I've been collecting a load of period correct hop-up items for it over the last few years.

Re: Got my Big Brute Running Again! But Gearbox Still Having Binding Issues.....
I have an old CAD file for a plate that goes between the motor and gearbox. I'm wondering if it was designed to fix this particular problem. I can't remember the details but 15+ years ago I bought some prototype parts off a guy who also included the file for me to have them manufactured. I never did...

Re: 3D printer for parts
My understanding has always been that 3D printers were invented for rapid prototyping purposes. To be able to quickly and cheaply test a design to see if it works before putting forth the cost to have whatever it is made from the proper materials. It seems like in the future the technology will impr...

Re: Hot Trick Blackfoot. What the...
I've been thinking about the gearbox a bit more, and It was obviously designed for a specific purpose. I've been into pullers closing in on 20 years now, and nothing adds up in that regard. I can write an essay why if necessary but it ultimately doesn't matter. Now, that's not to say it didn't pull ...

Re: Tamiya fox value?
What's it worth questions are normally against the rules, but since you're not looking for the value of something you personally own, it's cool. :) The only answer I can give is the one we always do. The classic it's worth what you're willing to pay line. The problem with vintage R/C is that there's...

Re: 4wd Lunchbox?
I made a 4WD Lunch Box in the '90s! I mounted another gearbox in the front, and the whole thing pivoted to steer.
I can't remember how I did it exactly. I was even videotaped driving it around the backyard in the snow. That brings back some fond memories.

Re: 4wd Lunchbox?
I added a poll to this thread for ya. Did I word it accurately? I for one would certainly buy the conversion. ESP made a full ClodZilla'esq conversion for the Lunch Box but it retained the 2WD. There's only one in existence which I own. Unfortunately it's been all apart in a box for the last 15 year...

Re: Cam Motor Recently Purchased
The only info I can find is that it's supposedly a 12T. I couldn't find any concrete proof to verify it.
