Re: How many versions of MX-4
It shares some parts with the mr4 bc. CVD´s, sus. arms..and drivetrain parts too, but diffs are different I think. Unfortunatelly I don`t have my parts here to compare them.. The mr4 bc had plastic outdrives, instead of metal. But out than that they might be the same. They share belts, but mr4 bc be...

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
if the straps are FRP, ie fiberglass and same as the shock towers, you have all of the necessary pieces. after the early cars, the battery straps looked exactly the same, but in white nylon. myself, I'm not a huge fan of the orange boxart, so boxart with a different color would be cool. definitely a...

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
Yes the 4-40 ones.
Protech 1 is the original rc10 buggy body. There was a protech 2 that was a later version. Never saw a protech 3. Protech IV is for a yokomo yz10.

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
I agree with the guys above.
The only part I would leave out / off is what’s left of the non original front bumper.
Looks like a very early car to me and those no hex ball cups are very hard to find.

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
The actual box-art car has windows cutout. A few years ago, I restored my Dad's old Edinger in box-art style and for the window net I used the drywall joint mesh "tape" and painted it black. It very much looks the part. So you cut the windows out? Also, with regards to a driver figure, th...

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
Well, here is my opinion. Back in the day when those broke you bought either Dubro or stock ones. Stock ones of the next era are not the hardest to find, but fairly expensive. Dubros that you buy today aren’t exactly the same as those we used back then, but close. It boils down to how original you w...

You can count the Super Stock 20 and 34 as Le Mans motors Kym. It's on the instructions that come with the motors.

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
Well the shock tower is unfortunate. Probably the best you can do to repair that is to get two flat plates and some clamps. Scrub the part really really good and wash with isopropyl alcohol. Apply thin crazy glue inside the joint and then clamp tightly together between the plates. HOWEVER, before pl...
