Re: Edinger? Time for some love
What about a 3D printed part? I made a quick model and test print (with "white" ABS) of the early Edinger ball cup. I think the results are pretty good for a first pass. It would only be suitable for a shelf car, though. Aesthetics, and possibly durability, would be better with a pro prin...

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
No they didn’t come with the car, and they’re like new, I bought them a couple years ago, most likely re-re ones. I purchased a pair of fiberglass battery straps from Factory Works. I also own an early Edinger RC10. They look identical other than the edingers looks a little used. When I get a chanc...

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
Yup early spine plate. That's really cool. I wouldn't be too disheartened with the discolorations. It was like that from the molds, and every car that has seen sunlight will have it. The plastics we're always more of a bone color.

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
Spur gear changes were pretty much the norm, so that's pretty easy to lose the original. The original had a smaller number of holes and was available for quite a long time since it was the same up until the stealth came out. If you keep you eyes peeled you should be able to find a white one somewher...

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
If you haven't done it, make sure you boil all of the parts from the peroxide bath. If you don't get it out of the plastic, it will eventually eat away any anodizing those parts are touching.
I usually do it a few times. Changing the water each time.

Re: Kyosho Turbo Inferno - New Rebuild
I added the rear mud scrapers and shock guards. I have never seen these installed on another Inferno of this generation. That is why I didn't even realize what the pieces were without some help. I also cleaned up/straightened the linkage a little. Big surprise - The motor that came with the original...

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
I’m gonna throw this out there, does anyone have the ball ends from a front stabiliser bar, and the connecting ball cups that they don’t require. I have the original stabiliser and the balls for the front arms, but am missing the rest, cheers Kym There are plenty on ebay search for dubro 180, these...

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
If you can find some regular #4 screws about half inch long, you could cut the heads off and use them. Or just wire wheeling the setscrews to remove the oxide coating

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
My Dubro parts for the front stabiliser turned up, now I need some (more) advice, what size set/grub screws do I need for the links, I’ve used some black ones (same as front suspension pin “locks”) but being black they are too visible I’d believe, so I’m guessing they used longer silver ones origin...
