Re: Futaba - Older Discontinued Receiver and Servo Spec Lists

When Hobbico went under I thought ahead and saved all those old Futaba pages to my PC. 8)

Here's the ESC list:

Re: Nitro cars

…so I’d like to post pics of them one by one to see at least what they are so I can determine my next move on what to do…where would one post pics in such a dilemma if at all here? We have an official thread for identifying RC cars and parts: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=14461

Front suspension beam looks like it's from a Vicfor Concept One pan car.

Re: Curious Bud's motor

Doesn't exactly ID the motor but according to the '91 RCCA Buyers Guide Bud's offered at least one mod motor with a fixed end bell. "Modified Stock No 7215 is a super-hot 17-turn single fixed end bell bushing motor."

Re: Mutt Inator10 VRF

The pod is narrow because it was originally from Parma's 1/12 Euro Panther. The same pod was used on the 1/10 Sprint, Funny Car and Hemi cars but the 1/10 Parma Pro Panther had it's own wider rear pod. I thought the axle would be the same as the one's used on Bolink, Hyperdrive, and Delta cars but I...

Re: Mutt Inator10 VRF

Unfortunately mine are either shorter or longer. You might be able to use a RC10L axle, which are about 1 3/8" long, by adding a spacer between the nut and the diff hub.

Re: Mutt Inator10 VRF

My assumption on the approximate age would be 1985-1989. Probably should have included this pic to show the rest of the hub/spindle/thrust assembly. parma axle.3.JPG The other spur gear hub, behind the spur gear, is bonded to the axel. There are no bearings contained within the shown aluminum hub a...

Re: Ruffy Rios RC10LS replica

I can't ID the wing mounts on Ruffy's car but the two types that GeneralZod posted were both from Bolink.

Ruffy's body looks like the same as the bodies Barry Baker and Ralph Burch had on their cars in this pic...which according to the race results were Associated Nissan bodies.

Re: Novak NES-1A haul - Kent Clausen white version

Novak's timeline isn't complete since they had at least one ESC before the NESC-1.

I expect you'll end up finding an example of one at some point.

Re: Novak's Real 1st ESC?

Some more Novak ESCs showing up in 1984 race reports.

1984 (May) Euro Champs. Looks more like an NESC-1 than the ESC in my first post.
1984novak2.jpg
1984 (Aug) World Champs. No pics...just a mention.

Welcome to the boards. I have always admired your fathers contributions to the hobby, and was sorry to hear of his passing.
