Re: Factory Works/JC Racing T Case ???

looks like John slipped up, that should say 9739, its the spring for the slipper. If you want to save some money, sometimes you can find RB10/DR10 kits broken up and most of the stuff is usable. The diff can be used, you will need some shims. The idler shaft, top shaft, slipper components, spur gear...

Re: M.A.N.E Eclipse

He's just a fisherman. Every time someone talks about something on Facebook miraculously that item will pop up on eBay for an unrealistic price haha.

Re: Aluminum idler gear

in my experience the steel topshaft wears the aluminum idler which then takes out the diff gear. You can try to keep them greased, but also beware that the grease makes the aluminum powder into abrasive toothpaste.

Re: Factory Works Steering on a GT? Help

Hi, I am Factory Works- the three options will all physically fit, however for your application the "original" is not a great option as it was for the original rc10 buggy. It fits, but the shape is less desirable. the other 2, the "short" and the "short wide" are both p...

Re: SAE/Imperial Hex driver sizes for Team Associated 1/10

5/64 isnt used for anything really but the stealth diff screw- however it works great as a 2.0mm driver for metric screws. Also a lot of pinions these days are metric, so a 1.5mm is handy. You will want a 2.5mm for the motor screws. For the 6 gear trans you will also want a good .035 (.9mm works wel...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

It's a little smaller looking than a 1/10 but that's what it was considered. Very light, and the chassis is quite fragile. I actually didn't need another one- I have one in kit form that was missing the box. Now I have a complete kit in the box and one for the shelf haha. I do have the "drive t...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Here is my Mercedes, which is missing some of the small pieces. I did round up the chrome kit for it, but still missing the lenses.

I don't think it would be a hard model to make at all, it's very simple. I just don't think it would be very popular either.

Yes, Chris sent me that Manx mold. It carries a part number and fits a Mini T but was never put into production

Re: Anyone know how to ship from US to Aus/NZ?

Pirate ship with insurance. Works great and not too pricey. Make sure they know that you are not responsible for any import duty or tax that is assessed when it gets there.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

AE is charging the preorders on this one, unlike the CC where they notified you when it was ready and then marked them up. It's $379, paid in full when you order it.

I prefer to order through amain but with a limited release and not knowing numbers I didn't want to chance it.

Re: The dog thread

I need some backup here guys! We have three big dogs. They plow through water like crazy and being boxers make a huge mess at the same time. During the summer we have a faucet outside they use during the day with a valve that they operate by putting pressure to it, really simple and they love it. Wh...

Re: 2014 Kyosho Beetle

Setting the angle of the front suspension shaft is super critical to getting the suspension to work properly and not have weird bump steer. I also don't trust the book.
