Re: The dog thread
We got our DNA test back, we knew he was half boxer because of mom but didn't expect the rest
He came back 51% boxer and the rest was pretty equal percentage of American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull), Australian cattle dog, and doberman pinscher. Oh boy, what a blend! Hahaha

Ok so I gotta say, Wisdom Panel is pretty fun. Here is Eddie's DNA test results and they found some of his relatives

GoMachVs first RC car 1985 and 2023
Thanks to a whole bunch of great friends I have been able to recreate my first rc. My Hornet had proline front tires, AJ's foam rears, a radio from my uncle that came with waterproof servos (that were waaaay too large for the chassis), and for some reason black tie rod ends on the steering. The body...

Re: GoMachV’s 3d printing thread
Nothing too special here but decided to make a hump pack case to keep around for a runner. I will add the cells when they arrive.
I also drew up a hollowed out version with the thinking I could have a smaller lipo pack inside basically making this just an adapter case. I'll get to that one next.

Re: The "My Current Version of My First Car" Thread
Well shoot, I never considered starting a thread for em. This is great as I'm not a big fan of the gallery. What fun is it to not have questions and answers. Anyway, here is mine again since my gallery will never get bumped   The original featured AJ's rear foams and proline fronts, a ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Made a hump pack for my Hornet. Kinda shocked you can still buy NiCad batteries in 2023

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I think those are the proline 2557 which were front wheels for rubber tires on pan cars.

Re: Vintage RC is migrating to Factory Works!!!
We will offer all your parts Todd, even the XX battery mount
So many of our parts overlap but because of the way I manage my materials I cut everything on demand. Grabbing one of your files vs one of mine is no different at that point

Re: Vintage RC is migrating to Factory Works!!!
Cool, one stop shopping. So, does this mean that FW parts will all be available in CF now? Or was it always an option (and I didn't know)? I was cutting carbon all along but a) don't like it much and 2) had Todd to take all the work I didn't want  The difference is it will now be a menu item i...

Re: Ultrasonic cleaner
I use the harbor freight unit, for the little I use one it fits the bill really well. Make sure to get one that is heated. I feel like the heat is really key. Mine came with a plastic "basket", more of a tray, and it didn't last long. I typically put my parts in a strainer and use that as ...
