Well, just need to wait for my orange pla to arrive so I can try printing out my walking clock....
They should work fine and be fairly light on support material to print thanks to those deep cones. I am going to hold off uploading them for now as I want first crack at printing them lol.
If you build up from parts, the bellcrank posts require 2.5mm e clips which are completely unlisted and not supplied in any mini jrx2 parts bag. I used Axial as they were cheapest.
Just found it, it looks good, I will probably pick up some og parts so I can calibrate size... time to buy bulk Reprapper white pla+ lol... I think it would look right with super knobby rc10 classic rear tires lol
As far as the Hawk goes- I found a complete first gen cad model on grabcad a while back. I haven’t looked it over real close but it looked pretty solid. So tempted.. so very very tempted.. was my first performance rc... Edit and as I was typing this it FINALLY imported into tinkercad... -insert YES...
I don't think I can do that, technically all these parts would be owned by Losi and I don't want to risk lawsuits. You could take the stl file to a third party service and get them printed if you want or I could print you copies. I think cults even directly links you to services that will print. I a...
Cults is linked to a service that will print your 3d files for you. It connects to many printshops around the world with options in material and surface finish among others. That and if you really only wanted to use Shapeways there is nothing preventing you from taking the stl over there manually. H...
This is sort of a branch off from the Mini Jrx2 thread. Jeff pointed me to some Traxxas Hawk cad files and being as the hawk was my first performance RC I have been considering making a mini version of it as I have been designing all these parts for the Mini Jrx2. I printed off a test chassis but wh...
Do you love the JrxT or Jrx Pro? Do you want a really floppy replica of one in 1/16 scale? Now is your chance! Did this for someone who wanted a model of the chassis to make a graphite chassis from, decided to toss it on cults as a lark... Floppy Chassis: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/mini-jr...
Those look promising. Right type of offset and even a period correct look. I'll order a set up and report back after the results. I think those in combination with these we may have a cheap modern option. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293983011964?hash=item4472c0c47c:g:XIcAAOSwThdg7jVp&amdata=enc%3A...
Added a jig to help drill out the inner ball joint locations on the rear bulkhead. The one I uploaded has all 4 on each side where the test piece only had 3. The Triangle points up and.. well you are likely going to need some epoxy or something on the backside to add some meat if you need to use the...
This is what I have come up with so far, I am doing some test prints to make sure everything is where it should be. It is not 100% accurate but it allows the outdrives to push through the case without universal joint disassembly. This should allow it to work with whatever they come up with in the fu...
My last goldpan was set up in a similar fashion, granted it was more that way as I set it up with a vintage mechanical speed control. The battery barely fit side to side heh.
