Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Actually Cliff had even told me that back in the day they would grease their gears with the diff lube to help improve efficiency of the transmission. The diff grease is actually an excellent grease for plastic (but terrible for metal on metal, which is why it works so well on the diff ball and keep...

Visual reference for wide front axles
I was bored the other day so I decided to take a few pics of the different front axles that can be fitted to the front of an RC10 to vary the width. Top to bottom are: 7222 wide GT axle - what B4 wheels generally call for 7459 inline T4 axle - a tad wider than stock, needs to be drilled out to 1/8&q...

Re: My first ever buggy build. The pink machine hope you en
Scrolling down, I gagged a little until I saw it with the body on, then it made sense. lol
Get rid of all the gold aluminum and white fiberglass bits and it would look great. And for the love of Xenu, please fix those rear shocks!

Re: What happened to RC Driver magazine?
Well that's a shame. I'm a longtime reader of RCCA but I thought RC Driver was a better magazine and had subscribed to it for the past few years.

Re: RPM Ultra Chassis eBay pick up
Amazing what some cleaning, a well-done black dye job to remove the ugly, and correct reassembly can do for an RC10. Even a bright pink/red/blue/green abomination from the 80's can look surprisingly good afterwards. I've never seen any other dye color, even when done properly, that looks as good as ...

Re: Sand Scorcher
Looks fantastic! Love the engine!
A Sand Scorcher is something I always wanted but could never justify spending money on for such old tech. That said, a freebie basket case would be an awesome project.

Finally drove an RC car again for the first time in 25+ years
So yesterday was it. After cashing out of the hobby back in the early 90's, I got back into it 8-9 years ago, buying parts and kits and building and fixing stuff, exactly what I enjoy about the hobby. But not one of my near-30 cars was/is a 100% runner. Seeing a deal online a few weeks ago, I bought...

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Pro build
Composite Craft parts always had such a certain quality to them, very much expensive but worth it for looks and finish alone. The CC RC10 Worlds I built years ago was arguably the nicest car I ever built. So nice I couldn't bring myself to actually drive it. lol I never knew of a truck version exist...

Re: Home Brew Connector Adapters
I'm starting to do the same, making adapters to go to/from Deans T plugs to whatever else I have since I haven't settled on One Connector to Rule Them All yet. And I need the soldering practice anyway.

RC12LW is finally a roller
After some cleaning, fixing, dyeing, and replacing, I finally came up with something that looks pretty decent. I bought someone's wreck off eBay a few years ago. The right side rear apparently took a good hit. The T-bar was cracked and most of the diff parts were missing including the wheel. Half th...

Re: Original World's Ball Bearings Question
Agreed. The four bearings in rear carriers should be the only difference. If you have a pre-made bearing kit for the re-re Worlds and want to use it on the original Worlds, you'll have four extra 3/16"x3/8" unflanged bearings and be short four 1/4"x3/8" flanged bearings. Eight if...
