Re: #6002
So rather than doing a re-re of something like the Team car, Associated is planning to do a re-re of one of the rarest and most sought after RC10 kits?! As a collector that really pisses me off.
Something clever goes here...

Re: #6002
as a collector it sucks. but with the way prices are going, now i might be able to afford one.
they keep doing this, this is shte second time they put a part number of a future release in a manual. the put the b5 one in another manual. then promptly removed it. there having fun with internet and seeing if thier followers are following.

Re: #6002
and this attitude pisses me off! As a collector, why do you care? Or is it because you think your investment (non collector) will drop in value? It doesnt change an original kit, and original is still, and always will be original. This type of discussion goes on and on, and from where I sit, the only people who are pissed off with re-re's, are those who think they are gonna make $$$ someday (again, non collector)ChisaiKuso wrote:So rather than doing a re-re of something like the Team car, Associated is planning to do a re-re of one of the rarest and most sought after RC10 kits?! Re: #6002
I'm not unhappy that I sold my NIB shrinkwrapped Worlds Car a few weeks ago now!
It went to a great home - all he was missing was a NIB Worlds.
I can now concentrate on my Kyosho collection.

I'm not unhappy! I bought two re-re's this time and I'll most likely do the same when the worlds car comes out!

Re: #6002
I'm usually a fan of re-re's in general, regardless of the brand. But world-car wise, this time, I have mixed emotions for reasons I can't really explain. Maybe because rere-ing a true racing icon looks a bit like sacrilege...

Re: #6002
Why? The original is still the original, and it will still be the most sought after. It won't be any less rare because Associated are bringing out a new version which will have several differences just like the Classic.ChisaiKuso wrote:So rather than doing a re-re of something like the Team car, Associated is planning to do a re-re of one of the rarest and most sought after RC10 kits?!
