I think black dye will black the red. At least that's what I've gathered from reading some other threads/posts over the years. And I just remembered that I dyed some already dyed yellow parts black some time back. Good luck. Lotta elbow grease went into this one. Way to stick it out.

That chassis looks pretty straight/clean. Nice work turning back the clock on these old parts.

I think it's Rad too!! Nice bit with the separated battery box and speedo nook. I love all the space these shorties and tiny receivers free up these days.

Wow. Pretty sweet. I have a set of delrin arms that I traded a dude for some stuff. They are supposedly for the TRX-1. I've never mounted them but they are certainly more "rustic" than those ones you rustled up there. Them 'r nice.
