I bought this car about 8 or 9 yrs ago and it's about 90% complete. The guy who sold it to me rebuilt it as a shelf queen. All of the parts are IMMACULATE, including the inside of the gearbox. The gears and shocks have never been oiled/ greased....

so i been slowly working on my hotshot re-re.... finally got to the servo/electronics setup...

is there anyway to increase steering a bit on these cars? basically the steering is a direct servo turn (like frog and others). no bellcranks or anything...

Ive recently purchased a pair of Tamiya old school uni's from dave but was wondering if there are any modern CVD's that are around for the above mentioned cars?

Got my trade to day and i'm pretty happy with it.Traded my white rc10 runner for a Zilla chassis and axles.Everything pictured.Lower chassis brace needs a little straightening but overall pretty nice.The diffs are very clean and smooth turnin.

The other day I was bored so I pull out my Hornet parts box and built this.I started with a chassis with a broken front tower and fabed this alloy one to accept longer shocks,I left it rough till I see how it works,it gives the shocks a negative...

Seems everything is being reproduced these days. I like it a lot, but a bit pricey.

The old SRB shocks with single o-ring leak like anything.

The new re-re srb has new shocks with double o-rings, do they still leak? Does the new design really work well?? :D

Hey Gary here you go. this is a Blackfoot I got from Red Scampi. all I have done so far is paint the body put on some decals Ive had forever.
Future plans include chrome wheels, Cvd's, working lights and better rollbar, with working light.

Wanted to venture on another of my waiting builds.
What do you guys/girls think I should start?

i have the 1/16 m4 sherman tank from 1974. its bone stock, with the manual speed control set up, with the dual 380 motors.

when running the tank , it likes to twitch a lot and the speed control set up is not proportional, its basically a on/...

Another project I am itchin to complete. ( I think I have most all teh items that I wanted to include ) Just could'nt hold out anymore.. :)

Finally got myself a Tamiya monster beetle. gave it a paint job, new tyres, chrome shocks & working headlights.
hope u like it. Lots of fun to drive & is very quick with a 23 turn tamiya motor & 3200lipo.

Hi I just bought a NIB Stadium Thunder.

Just want to know if you can use any different pinion than the 13t in it.

Doesnt say any options in the manual but the rear gearbox is based on the falcon.

Any advice on this much appreciated.

Stock build with box art paint. Has pargo alloy rims, trinity wing, and crp battery holder.

Just wondering what tire /Rim package you are running.

Ive come up with a 5 spoke 2.2 rims with hex drive shod with losi studs.

Gives a little more clearance for max lock with bell crank steering Mod.

Always wanted a Hotshot type buggy. Nice thing about this car is is that most the re-re Hotshot stuff is a direct bolt on....

I will take more pics when it gets in, and progress along the way....

i got this hornet a while back with a few other cars i got.pretty much threw this in for free. used when i got it, and worn out too.first time i ran it , it fell apart. tie rods kept coming off,msc kept sticking. didnt have the heart to throw it out...

I was reading the hotshot manual and was trying to figure out the type of ball bearing it needs. But there was no measurement in the manual.

Can someone tell me the type (size) and number of ball bearing in a hotshot? :roll:

I have more Tamiyas' in my collection, but this is the most recent one. I got it mainly for tormenting my son around the house. he loves to pick it up and carry it, so theres a small wrinkle on the one side.
