Round 3
Here it is!

I finished it in a big 9hour sprint to get it ready for the vintage meeting in TonTon Land, north of Tokyo.
The action pic was made with Tanaka-san of Time-tunnel at the steering wheel.

The car is an absolute hybrid with parts from many brands and even more different cars.

no direct fit, but maybe with some imagination... rear uses a 12mm hex and front bearings are really tiny compared to the Losi ones and use metric size...

front tires are tamiya (astute?) forced over the bit too large rims.
Rears are RCL (from the Incident).

The ultima front carrier, knuckle and wheel axle fit direct on the JR-x2 front arms I think.
bearing size is 8x4, or if you use the CRP axles for more offset: 8x5 mm

And for the rear: plenty converters were available, HPI for sure has them. You may have to ream the center hole for the large diameter axle of the JR-X2.

If you plan to run it , send me a PM: I think I can come up with all you need, including these once-ran tires.

The big design is completed, but I have new ideas already boiling to tune the car up: which includes changing the rims and tires.

The car handled rather difficult: but better than I actually expected for the suspension style.
I made the mistake of putting a too strong moter: 15 single and wheel-type radio I can't handle. Rear shocks need more travel and damping: too springy now: like a toy car. Front is planted, but too narrow for stability.
The trackmaster needs new balls in the diff, but was real nice further.

 got some links: never shy to steal an idea
I've been doing this modding and scratch-building for so many years now, which means I built up both: a large stock of parts to choose from and experience in the execution. Keep practising and drive the stuff you make: that's the only way to learn and to know if it doesn't only look nice but also works well.

I've built stuff that looked real nice but didn't work well. That usually went on the shelf because of the time that went in to it.
But then a couple months later it gets picked up on again, or taken apart to be used in a built of something that hopefully will work better.

Not entirely ready, but I'm away from my hobby room for the next 2 weeks, so a preview of what the future beholds:
longer, wider, bigger volume shocks and more travel in the suspension
