I snagged this from the thread entitled So Who Else Here Has ... Because it got me to thinking ...

I know Jim(rcvoltar) personally and have bought quite a bit from him, he gets a lot of stuff from Craigslist and he has ads at the hobby shops down...

There is a $50 RC10T for sale on CL i think im my area. I have scored a number of RC10s for cheap off my local CL.

Not a bad place at all.

I just got this off craigslist and it came with 3 controllers and tons of extra tires, servos, 3 motors, and 100s of parts for $100. I am new to the hobby so I am sure I will have questions about it. This seems like a very good forum :D

I've been seeing everbody getting these great deals on older RC10s. Some for parts ,some for runners, some for shelfers. I've been a little jealous because I've been watching all the right places for quite awhile, not eBay for sure. Been searching...

Picked this up local on Craigslist for pretty cheap. I've been wanting a graphite car for a while now (not really been wanting a 6-gear, but it is what it is) and the wheels were just a huge bonus. Help me ID this thing.. take your best guess at...

Picked this up yesterday for 20 bucks. Yeah it's beat, but most of it is there. Just a few parts need to be replaced is all and the transmission spins nicely. I think it will make a nice runner. :wink:

A Craigslist 10T brought me to this forum/addiction. A few months back I found a B3 and picked it up.

It looked to be in good shape at first but the tear down revealed some problems (missing parts, wrong hardware, etc.). All and all, not a bad...

I loved my B3 when it came out and now i have a almost new one with a lot of upgrades waiting for me to take time and build it.

Looks like you replace the top shaft of the tranny with a B4 slipper setup? That looks very nice and it will help you...

I just recived this in the mail - purchased it off of craigslist in L.A.

Needed the pan, shocks, and speed controler. There is what I am trying to upgrade, purchased it for $60.00 of craigslist before I knew anything about RC10's.
