is there any out there for the 10t that use the long 8-32 screws like the buggy? i know the rpm bellcranks would work for what i'd need, but lotsa luck trying to find those. mip's would probably work, but they suck. how about the composite craft...

all of daryl's a&l/factory works steering kits used the same yellow plastic bellcranks. the only diffrence in the kits were the sector arm and the drill template included with some kits to relocate the 'cranks where needed. i bought a kit one time...
I've had this one on top of my head a few times but never got to ask... but as I'm working on getting the LXT ready for action in May, it comes back to the surface again:
why the steering bellcrank asymetry on the first-gen losi...

From the man himself.
The JRX2 originally only had a flexible steering arm as a servo saver (not such a great idea). I wanted it to be as long as possible to reduce the strain (more travel) when hit. Since the arms were offset only one could be...
Hey all, I just received my B chassis RC10 last night, and one of the first things I noticed was the steering was binding. After undoing the nylon lock nuts I looked inside and sure enough the inside of the bellcrank tubes that fit over the 8/32...

no, they just replace the #8 hardware with #4 hardware and those posts. I suppose a steel #4 is stronger than an aluminum #8.
I couldn't help but show this abomination I just picked up in a collection. The pink panther driver was just too cool. Once You overlook the nightmare of a suspension geometry, there are some cool parts here. Novak servo, chassis that looks like the...

Definitely an interesting time capsule. I'm coveting those rear tires (Proline Flat Stubbies I think). I have a set and they hook-up great on my track.
In those days, running brushless and pneumatic motor bearings were a speed secret.
Is it just me or is there a lot of slop in the 10t steering? Have just got my runner up together for the start of the vintage class at my local club and it seems no end of shims spacers etc will sort it out!
Any recommendations, or is there another...
So I am running my Rc10t with the turnigy 1258tg with a reported 13.5 kg of torque.
At a complete standstill on pavement the front wheels are challenged and don’t fully turn. When driving it seems fine.
Should the wheels freely, or fully, turn...

The problem was the second servo saver I was using. I was using servo an older kimbrough servo saver instead of a servo horn. I swapped up to a standard piece of plastic and all is well now.
But it sounds like anywhere from 5-10 kg is going to be...
Who has used this RC10T to T2 steering conversion kit and does it work well enough over stock to justify the cost? I'm not currently in need to replace the old stock servo saver setup, but trying to plan for possible future breakage, and given the...
