That's interesting, hopefully someone else can help you with info. How about some pictures. I've never seen a Bolink digger vw bug.

Use photobucket or some other picture hosting site to resize and add pics.

Some pics and info here:

As soon as I get some new chassis side plates there will be lots more pics of the completed car.

Wow, I haven't seen one of those radios in 12 years. I used to have one with my old tamiya f-150. Good radio, just takes time to get used to. Do you know the slot car controller trick?

That is old school for sure. I would love to find one of those bodies without the hood scoop/engine.
The Digger name was recycled at least once, maybe twice on different generations of chassis.

Neat.

Now THAT defines "OLD SCHOOL".

I remember seeing Bolinks on the LHS' shelves next to the Sand Scorcher that I couldn't afford back in the day.

I don't remember those!

That's a piece of lost R/C history.
Projects and shelfers:
Late Edinger, RC10B2, Dual Sport, GT, Kyosho Turbo Ultima, Triumph, Tamiya Sand Scorcher, Blackfoot/Monster Beetle, '67 Beetle, Nikko Rhino, Traxxas Fiero, Slash, Hand-built Dune Buggy..all on here somewhere...
