My hopped up RC10T!
My hopped up RC10T!
I just received this 10T today and I have to say that it has impressed me. From the ESC to the rear shock tower, it's definitely a beast. In my neck of the woods this truck would have been the "Bomb Diggity" back in the day. I got a couple photo's of it but will try to get better ones of it soon.
Here it is:
The rear shock tower is aluminum and made of three pieces. Anyone have some info on it, possibly?!
I'm going to run it this weekend at my local track to see what she can do. I would have loved to been able to afford this nice of a truck back in the day... ...

Ah, I was wondering who picked up that awesome deal bngiles pointed out in the ebay section. Good for you! That's onehelluva truck, and for a steal of a price too.
Re: A very nice RC10T!
Not only is the truck nice but all the little extra's it came with are killer too! The Pit Wizard software kit is in mint condition and it even came with a set of chrome knock offs and lights to boot!

Yeah, it looks brand new! I had seen this auction while browsing ebay but didn't give it too much thought at that time. Once I saw it posted here I took a better look at it and decided to pull the trigger, glad I did!

Re: A very nice RC10T!
well i dont think id ever want to say or hear the term "Bomb Diggity" but back in the day this truck would have been the truck to have at the track..but forget back in the day this truck is great to have now!! it may not be the fastest, lightest, truck but i have a ton of fun with mine...not a big fan of the esc ..to high tech for me..back in the day id say..what the??over $200 for this esc and then i have to buy a computer,no way...but anyway great truck looks like a great find making me want another one ..lots of luck...this truck would have been the "Bomb Diggity" back in the day
Re: A very nice RC10T!
It was late when I used the term "Bomb Diggity" , a more appropriate term would have been "awesome" . The Cyclone doesn't require a PC to use it, it just adds more customization options for you. Who ever set the truck originally definitely knew what they were doing as it's tweaked to dominate!

Re: A very nice RC10T!
yea just jokin with you and your "Bomb Diggityness" as for the esc i heard you didnt need a pc the point is i remember, i dont think i had a pc when this came out and thinkin ..i can win races without a pc... but still a great esc, good score for you..that Hitec Shredder receiver and battery hold down setup is cool too..im really into that metal rear bulkhead/shock tower..looks like the most rare rc10t metal parts out there..looks like the missing link in making a full metal rc10t ,something i always wanted to do..Daddeo wrote:It was late when I used the term "Bomb Diggity" , a more appropriate term would have been "awesome" . Yeah, the rear bulkhead/shock tower thing is neat and I've never seen one before like this. If I didn't get caught up rebuilding my B4 this weekend I would have run it, oh well next weekend maybe.
Re: My hopped up RC10T!
Still haven't run this truck yet, life has gotten in the way as of late. Still have a burning desire to run it though, at least once .
