There is definitely interest for these parts. Look at this thread (as an example of such interest): http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11729

Re: Aluminum RC 10 Chassis
If I were you I would rather have a look at an ally chassis for the sc10. I hear it has a weak spot near the front.
A few might be interested in a 50mm (2") lengthened RC10T chassis so that we can have a SC10T.

I was also thinking about a aluminum gear cover similiar to my rough rider and sand scorcher ones. It would have a hole with plug to adjust the diff on the old six gear tranny and the slipper on the stealth.

Re: Aluminum RC 10 Chassis
if you are feeling up to it aluminum stealth tranny cases would be sweet !
Re: Aluminum RC 10 Chassis
I kinda like your first idea of a milled aluminum chassis. Is this something you have done? I would love to have a custom chassis of my own design carved out of alu! I say go for it!

Re: Aluminum RC 10 Chassis
I have a friend that has a CNC machine and he has been making me parts for the sand scorcher and rough rider and now he just got a CNC lathe so he is going to be making wheels for me. I thought a aluminum chassis might be of some interest.

Re: Aluminum RC 10 Chassis
I'd definitely be interested in getting an allu chassis. Something like the graphite AE one but made of alluminum with sides slightly bent for rigidity. A motor plate with heat sink and a gear cover would also be winner...

Re: Aluminum RC 10 Chassis
The graphite style is what im looking at but i need to get a hold of one first or I will design a similiar one from an aluminum tub chassis.

Re: Aluminum RC 10 Chassis
On this post you can see my sassy chassis RC10. The aluminum body is nice but it would need to be bent a little on the sides. It flexes to much. It is also too wide and stick out of the body in the front.
