I think I will put some teflon sheet on the underside of the chassis and make it my runner for next season...I'm anxious to see it ride like a race queen...

I finally finished an old project, this is gonna be my old school runner. RC10 Team car fully restored and rebuild... Hot Bodies Stealth Fighter body, Jammin Jay wing with Losi wing mounts, Proline front wheels, Imex rear wheels with X-pattern tires, MIP ball-raced steering kit, MIP CVD's, RPM gear cover, titanium turnbuckles, Stealth tranny (a must) with Kevlar spur gear, Factory Team threaded shocks (I had to place some spacers inside the front shocks to obtain the correct ride height) and last but not least I sandblasted the edges of the chassis to make them bling, the result is nice. Electronics: vintage 410-M5 Novak ESC, Hitec servo, powered by a Trinity Speed Gem 17x2... I'm anxious to see it ride

Great collection. I particularly like the graphite car with the Tecnacraft alloys.
Gotta say a big thanks for previously posting the Hot Trick chassis update when you bought new front arms. I got some new HT arms too, but with no instructions, I was feelingly pretty hungover and couldn't work out which bolts went where. So I just found your pic on RC10talk and followed that.
Thanks Ed, I am happy to make you happy it's true that you have many solutions to install the HT A-arms, shock above or below, hinge pins up and/or down... Personnally I've tried every position front and rear and I'm still not satisfied with their travel, they indeed look very nice but in my mind they must have been a real PAIN to race with...
If you are left with any question, do not hesitate to come back to me

The reason I plumped for the HT front arms is that they are a hop-up front arm of the short style. I have a pre-legends MIP 4x4 kit and wanted to put it on a chassis with as many hop-ups as possible (as that's my RC preference). This kit doesn't work with wide front ends and /or the Andy's front arms (shodog found that one out). As you know the HT front end was made wider with a wider front kick up plate. I am hoping that by using these arms with a standard plate and hardware I will be able to use the MIP 4x4 kit and have hop-up arms. Fingers crossed. Out of curiosity do you have a copy of the instructions you could scan for me?
I must have a copy for the rear A-arms I bought NIP but the front were already slightly used, so no instruction... I am sure it will work with the HT fornt arms, standard kick-up plate and the MIP pre-Legend kit since the HT front arms are exactly the same lenght and shape as the short stock ones, uncross your fingers, it's all good

Asso, great collection of vintage RC-10s. I like the care and detail you put into every one of them. Just one minor correction, the wheels on your graphite car are not tecnacraft. They look to be ones made by JPS http://www.jpspro.com/images/a8-Cat%20small.jpg
I have searched a bit and came up with little, can anyone shed light on the evolution of the front bulkheads and motor plates? I am piecing a Jrxt together and have a slew of different mounts and towers
Also, didnt the truck come with the servo...

For the front bulkhead, there are 2 versions with the jrx2 stamp. The original has a lip that extends past the bottom of the bulkhead...so it actually covered the front of the chassis. The later version did not have the lip. This was done because of...
Ok so I’ve been reading over some real old threads, namely about TQ10’s. I came across the info that the black motor plates on them were only for the 6 gear. Honestly never realized or tried to swap out motor plates between the two transmissions to...

I've collected a few interesting Trinity motors and thought I would share my collection, and maybe ask couple questions along the way... most of the motors came from people that didn't know much or anything about them, and it's hard to tell them...

Awesome collection. You can get 1/4 black tape to replace what's there if you ever open them up. I just take a couple pictures of it first before removing the tape.
Thanks! I've always really liked the look of the Monster Horsepower motors but...
Here are a couple of pics of my vintage motor collection. All of these motors were raced at one point in time. My favorites of all have the to be the Slot Machine 2 and the Parodox. They changed stock racing in there own right. First was the laydown...

Well you have really good collection I like that. I think all the old stuff is more durable instead of the new motors . Because I mostly see the burnt problem in motors. How many years you are collecting these motors?
Just picked up two NIB 240s you see on the right. That makes 3 that will end up in Shelf Queens... PXL_20230715_185133616.jpg PXL_20230715_185130676.jpg PXL_20230715_185126360.jpg
