i'd be willing to bet those rear tires that we questioned earlier are the kit tires. even the fronts have foam inserts.

I think thoes tires are the ones I told you about. I have seen a lot of the later JT come with them those look like the mini steppins. sweet grab.
Re: Kinda embarrassing but...Junior T for me!
Thanks guys. I sent a note to the seller about the tires after I won the auction but he never responded. The tires are definitely brand new and if they had still been bagged I'd never have questioned it.

Wow, I would never leave bad feedback just because of that. Too many people are trigger happy with the feedback now that the seller can't ding you for it.treehugger wrote:HAVE YOU DONE THE FEEDBACK YET ?REDSCAMPI

Wow, that's cool about the possibility of those tires, but isn't that sticker sheet for the LXT? The hardbodies shocks were not out then were they?--If my questions are dumb, it's because I only own one Losi

I think that was a sheet they through in when they were out of the proper ones? I have seen them in a lot of Junior kits. and yes the LXT kits, but I think the LXT was out first. the Junior kits were entry level and the LXT and Pro se were the top end kits.Charlie don't surf wrote:Wow, that's cool about the possibility of those tires, but isn't that sticker sheet for the LXT? I thought the Junior T, and Junior 2 were out around the same time as the JRX 2, JRX-T--I know the POS LXT I had was a conversion from a JRX-T without the LRM tranny, and hard shocks and I could swear the Junior's were out before then

the LX-T was a upgrade conversion of the Jrxt it was out before the Junior series. the junior series was the last of the Jrx cars Losi put out. then they went to the XX cars. they were cheaper than the rest and came with bushing and soft plastic towers.
I hate to tell you that calling the LX-T a POS is blasphemy!

Re: Kinda embarrassing but...Junior T for me!
Mine was a pile--I was the track champ that year, sold my CC 10t and picked up an LXT because I thought I would be faster--that truck was horrible! Now it may have just not suited my driving style or maybe was not as good because it was a conversion or?? But I hated that truck with a passion all season long, I traded it for a (stolen
) Trinity Evo later in the year to find the owner-
(trinity sponsored Joel Winiki) lost the car a few weeks earlier (had some protoype parts on it) and still didn't care as long as that truck was out of my sight!
Cool to know about the time period for the Junior series!

I guess it was just a lemon. I loved mine but I love all things Losi. I could never get my RC10 to even keep up with our Track champ. he Raced a Jrx Pro that I still own. he sold it to me to buy a Rc10L. he wasnt Champ any more.

Re: Kinda embarrassing but...Junior T for me!
Rick, I’m in the rather uncomfortable position of disagreeing with all due respect. I’m virtually certain the Juniors came out before the Pro SE/LXT. A quick review of the parts lists I have suggests the same, both for the date they appeared, and the progression of the chassis part numbers.
Also from a design perspective, didn’t the Junior chassis still have provisions for the trailing link side mounts (although not used in stock form)? While the Pro SE/LXT abandoned them (slim line chassis)?

Re: Kinda embarrassing but...Junior T for me!
the jr's came out around the same time as the pro.
when i was racing my junior-t in the truck class, i was racing against jrxt's. a friend of mine that ran the hobby shop i worked at bought one of the lxt conversion kits (when it came out) for his jrxt, but i'd have to say that was 92. i had my junior-t in 91.
