Vintage Team Losi Motor query
Vintage Team Losi Motor query
I bought some stuff on Ebay a while back and with the parts lot was included a Team Losi motor called "Revolution Modified Motor Brutus". I know nothing about vintage losi motors. Can anyone tell me what wind and turn this motor is?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Vintage Team Losi Motor query
Not that this helps, but the MTM is a 19t, and the Jr's choice is a 17t.
I guess you can rule those turns out. I think the Brutus was a low wind, like 13 or 14.

Not much more help, but the JR-X2 gearing guide suggests it is a fairly hot wind for the dry magnet era, although neither Insane nor Killer….

Re: Vintage Team Losi Motor query
A Frend of mine had that motor something like 20-years a go and told me that is a 16*3.
You can also open the endbell and see the winding close to communicator. I should be easy to see if it is a single, double, triple or quad etc.

Re: Vintage Team Losi Motor query
Thanks a lot, everyone, for the information. Looks like I was quite lucky with this one (especially as the motor is nip - albeit with connectors soldered on). Alas, I don't have a Losi car to stick it on so it'll have to find its way into one of my Schumachers/RC10s...
