My worry was the high rear shock towers and they look like they might clear within the "rear rollbar/toolbox" area and have a good flat spot to body mount.
Once again I am just eyeballing the best I can with a non-trimmed clear HPI body
That is what I thought about them too: HPI's trucks all have their shocks mounted on the backside of the suspension arms, like the RC10GT, but all the bodies seem to have that area of the bed filled in. Many gas truck bodies have the humps for the rear shock tower in the middle of the bed, and the area where the shock tower is on an electric truck is much lower. The HPI bodies look like they will clear that OK, or maybe sit a little bit higher. I think the Ford, Chevy and Dodge bodies all look great, much better than the generic racing bodies from other companies.
I now got a decent pair of wheels for the black pan 10t, one piece wheels with dish inserts, which I haven't seen before I got these ones. They turned out black with dark blue inserts, wrapped in losi tires. They look really good with the current body

LOL that blue body is by HPI. I guess we know they will likely fit
to keep the speeds toned down you might sit on that 17t motor for a while and go with a stock motor or even a silver can. If that is still an objective.

YUP! I noticed that too, but wasn't sure how old the body was...considering it came on a 10T
i think i will encourage a radio with throttle end points to adjust the top speed.

The Traxxas XL-5 ESC lets you limit the throttle to 50%, and it's waterproof. No idea how well it performs, but it should be a good option if the radio doesn't have throttle EPA. A radio with steering EPA or dual-rate adjustment is a must IMO. It's pretty disappointing that Hitec's cheapest AM pistol has this, but Futaba's radio at the same price point ($50) doesn't. You do get a lot more adjustments with the next radio up, and it's only $25 more, but still, it's a big thing for Futaba to omit.

So he got it today and tried it out a bit in the street, he was quite happy of course although he looks a little shy on the pic. Of course my son was out too at that moment and bumped into the radio antenna, bam broken! Fortunately I had another one...
Lately I've developed (re-developed) a bit of a stadium truck fetish. My buddy and I had a pair of stadium trucks briefly when we were in college. I had a Losi LXT that I bought used with my high school graduation money, and not long after he bought...

This week I made a little bit of progress. I'm using the original chassis for now until I can find a better one. I want to find an earlier B stamp with only the offset holes, but for now, this one is going to suffice. It's pretty clean, and would be...
I got this very nice RC10T from a now infamous member in a trade deal a while back. Contrary to other folks on here I have had a very pleasant and lucrative trading experience with him. This truck is just one example. I got the body in a separate...

Hi there! Long-time RCer, first time RC10talk poster!
