The more I look at these pics, the more I want to get my old frypan up and running again.

Wow - just how big is your collection of Schumachers? I reckon you should consider selling your paint jobs - there's a definite unique theme with those stripes you do, and they look topnotch!bormac wrote:

Got this car out for a run on the weekend and it was a bit of a handful sporting 2.0" old skool tyres and a 10x5 wind motor - LOL!
Re: Topcat/Cougar vintage race car.
That's one hell of a photo, Jason! How does the car handle compared to your Topcats (i.e. I mean vis-a-vis the front upright shocks v's the laydown ones, etc)?

For a moment I thought this pic came straight of a magazine cover. X-llente Jason!

That motor looks good. Being a 10 quint and geared correct it will be a awsome motor in that.
Well done pal.

Re: Topcat/Cougar vintage race car.
Chris (Besty) made this shot and what a shot it was! The Cougar is smooth under power but the old skool tyres didn't have the grip on the hard dusty surface. I got the car around ok but it wasn't easy with the low grip.
All credit for this pic must go to Chris. We are hoping to get more nice shots of other vintage racers in the near future.

Re: Topcat/Cougar vintage race car.
Thats a great pic Bormac!
I'm guessing those tyres would have faired better had it been 1990?.... i've had tyres 'go-off' if they were left in the tyre box for too long - even if they were sealed in a plastic bag, they just seem to harden up over time. Having said that a ten quint would make any old-skool racer rather a handfull
