Re: Ascociated 12L, 12I
I like it too. I noticed it only because I have always thought of doing the same thing to my 12lw's, I removed the "flash" on the inside (by the motor's endbell) left over from the molding process but I have never had the stones to mill it out, (even though it seems/looks like such an obvious modification). Nice car.

the twin's,
I just installed a NIP Dynamic Strut suspension kit on my composite carft runner.
and a CC 12LS conversion kit almost done just waiting on the mail man to finish her up. everything but the motor plate is NIP.

Re: Ascociated 12L, 12I
Wow, no wonder your 12th was such a handfull on the track! I didn't realise the whole chassis was dragging. And I have a funny feeling Rick will be running a DS next yearbearrickster wrote:I have never had so much fun comeing in lastbut as you can see the car was assembled incorrectly so it was draging the ground the whole time. we discovered this just before the Main and Mark hooked me up with some taller front tires so it ran much better. but still not corectly. I wanted some last pick before I rip it apart and fix it right. I am thinking of dyeing the red parts black I am not fond of red, what does everyone think?

Aaaaahhhh crap! I'm about to get passed by that orange truck!

Re: Ascociated 12L, 12I cc new build
Well I put some paint on my CC RC12L Graphite
this is a MrLexan 1/12 Kremer Porsche 935-K3 this is a great body, I do not recommend metallic paints. the wings on the fenders and back are real hard to get paint into the deep crevasse.
thank you Brandon G I used the pinstripes and no bleeding, and Yes the thin black stripe is painted on.

Wow, that is a very body cool Rick! Nice job on the paint too. I have always wondered how you're supposed to paint in the cracks.
