Thought I would get this guy back up and running. I used to love this car back in the day, it was my cousins car. Well, long story short he let me borrow it and then he got a divorce from my cousin and never saw him again. This was 14 years ago, his loss is my gain.lol..I just went through another set of gear in the trans, I really wish they made them in metal instead of plastic. Well, here are the pics
Not going to restore it, just run her as it is. I might attempt to put in a stealth trans so I don't have to deal with the two plastic gears of this trans. Not even sure where I could find parts to restore this car. Most of it seems to be in good working condition.
For as long as I can remember the tires were that way. The car has not been driven in 14 years. This may actually be the original tires from the kit. Who knows though. Lol

Is there any text left on the tyres ??
Not really. Only on the very inside and outside of the tires. It looks as if it was a x patern which would go across the entire tire.

My first car r/c car was a Lazer but I can not remember the company who made it. It was a knock off of a Hornet but had some cool chrome wheels. Anybody ever heard of this?

I'll go from oldest to most recent...you will see a progression that way. :) Also, for a few of the bodies the color choice is um, unique. That is what the customer wanted. With exclusion fromt he mellow yellow decal and some headlights/grills...

Here's the lighting on my E-Revo....sadly the body is now trashed. I loved that body so much. :( Had 20+ hours in it!
I was into slot (and slotless) a good bit when I was a kid. As the tracks wore out they got pitched, but I think I still have all the cars. Most are late 70's, early '80's - 1 or 2 earlier maybe, and none later than say, 1984 or so. As I recall, I...
Feeling nostalgic a few days ago I decided to dig out the few photos I have of some past ventures in R/C to share. Wish I had some pics of my Dad's 1/10 and 1/12 scale cars and my old 1/12th but I doubt any were ever taken. Anyways, first up are a...

A long while back while I still maintained a f/s thread here I had sold a pair of Traxxas Cats for something like $30 as a lot for the pair...anyone here remember buying these from me?
I absolutely love this website, and in the spirit of increasing activity and expanding its content, I decided it was time to post my vintage collection. I bought my first hobby grade rc back in 1995, which was the entire reason why I became a...
