I had a NIB Vette and GT40 in nitro versions, sold them unfortunately, and I have a runner Cobra shell from this model on a Hobao Hyper 10 EP, 4WD so not quite in keeping, but handles better.
Next change is to put some hpi rims I had spare onto MG, those white ones are neither stock nor pretty

I missed out on a NIB mantis a couple months back: some small shop had promotions running but when I finally got an opportunity to go by during opening hours, they were forever closed. In stock form they are really crappy cause of the springs-only, no-damping suspension but I like the way the chassis is designed and most important the FWD version. I think its is actually a modular build up like the tamiya m-chassis. Meaning I could probably buy a RWD one and convert it without extras wtraight into a FWD... throw some lazer arms on it, long shicks and a custom fabbed shocktower... may-be some dy when all the other stuff waiting in the basement gets finished , sold or given up on :lol:
