ROTFL - thank god the camera only adds 10 pounds!! ROTFL
Yeah - thats me. The Durango is a real treat to drive. I had absolutely no practice at all for the event, had never driven the Durango, or even driven on the track before, untill the day of the race! Unfortunately, I dont get to race alot cause I live about 3 hours from the nearest decent track, so I am extremely pleased with the result.
I actually "snatched defeat from the jaws of victory" at the event in 4wd. All I had to do was win the last final to take out the event, which I was doing quite comfortably (about 4 secs), however a bit of bad lack in a collision earlier in the race had made the motor move, eventually stripping the spur gear. That coupled with a "brain fart" on a jump that made the motor move more cost me the title. I dont whine about it all though, had a brilliant event, super clean racing and am proud to have finsihed where I did given the amount of track time I get. The winner, Chris Marshall, is a real great guy, that I used to race back in the old days. In fact second place finisher Adrian Harlor used to race back in the day as well with me........funny how we oldies seem to be making a comeback !! Life in the old dogs yet!
Cheers

Thanks Guys - was a while ago now - but still appreciate the comments!!
Love the Venom race products now - they really have lifted their game with new range of race quality gear. The Durango is a weapon and I am very appreciative of the support the Venom/Durango management give me. Just wish I could race more often.
Cheers
