Re: Sway Bar Question

I have been searching a while for some information on mounting the front sway bar to an early RC10... without success.

Can anyone tell me part numbers for the following:
1) the small button-head screws that hold the sway bar down
2) the washers associated with these screws
3) the ball stud that threads into the front A-arm, for sway bar attachment

Thanks for any advice on this.

Unfortunately not. I did check the manual before posting my question, if you look at figures 137-139 in the early manual, it references the sway bar installation, but, it only says to use the hardware "in the bag" with the sway bar - I do not see that it gives part numbers (nor size specifications) for the screws, washers, or ball stud.

Anyhow, thanks for the reference. :)

the ball stud is the same as one that is used on the front end, like for instance, on the steering arm, servo saver, or c-hub.

the button head screw is the same as the ones used to hold the motor plate to the rear guard.

the washer i beleive is the same as used behind the nut at the top shock mount.

I don't think you can use a sway bar with the Andys arms. There is no place to attatch the sway bar to the arm. Right? :?:
