I thought about this a lot while building my 1st Vonats car. so when I picked my car it was a no brainer for me. I love the Losi pro se. So I kept my build with useing 90% Vintage Team Losi upgrades all the way. the pro se, came with the XX Retro fit trans stock, so I used the xx CVD'd but the xx is vintage also. I used RPM arms that are vintage correct. I did use xx wheels for the 2.2 tires. again all stock vintage Losi parts. I changed the front spindles to xxcr ones so I could run the a full set of matching front and rear losi xx wheels, all that required was drilling out the lower pin hole, this year I went a little faurhter with the mods I added xx wing mounts. I put a vintage Pure tech battery strap on in place of the stock mount. .and since the Losi Prose body is no longer avaialble, (sorry I ony have one son no trade) I use the vintage xx Losi body 8008 .

so When I look back at My vintage Losi pro se I still A Pro se. IT is really a Pro se, with some vintage xx cr parts ingraded in to but its all Vintage Losi in the end. does anyone agree with me.

for me........I would say "absolute vintage" & "modernized vintage"..........

absolute vintage is everything period-correct & matched............ mainly as a shelf-queen most of the time.........

modernized vintage will be those adding currently available car parts......... in order to make the vintage car become a runner.........
